About us

Local engineers who know the area's reception

We're digital TV aerial and satellite specialists based in St Albans, serving Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and North London every day. We're a completely independent, family-run business and have worked locally since 1996.

Every technician has at least five years' trade experience with aerial and satellite systems. Our installers work alongside our office team and a maintenance team who can usually help the same day when an existing aerial or dish develops a fault.

Because we're independent, our advice is unbiased, whether you're choosing between Freeview and Freesat, keeping an existing Sky Q dish working, or wondering whether a broadband service such as Freely, Sky Stream or BT TV needs an aerial at all. We'll recommend what suits your home and budget.

Common questions

Is it still worth fixing my aerial or dish?

TV is moving online, but for most homes an aerial or dish is still the most reliable way to watch.

Is Freeview being switched off?

Not yet. Freeview is guaranteed until at least the end of 2034. The government is consulting on whether to end aerial TV in 2034 or 2044, and no date has been set. A good aerial installed today should see out that period.

Do I still need a dish for Sky?

Sky stopped selling new satellite TV in 2025, so new customers get Sky Stream or Sky Glass over broadband. Plenty of homes still watch Sky Q through a dish, though, and we still repair, realign and move those dishes. Freesat and foreign-language satellite TV still use a dish too.

What about Freely and other streaming services?

Freely brings live BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 over broadband instead of an aerial. It suits homes with fast, reliable broadband. Many households keep an aerial as well, so TV still works if the internet goes down. We'll give you honest advice on what makes sense for your home.

Freeview Freesat Sky BT TV

We install and repair systems for all the main UK TV platforms. We're an independent company and not part of any of these brands.
